Hello. I am a 15 year old dreaming like you once did about thru hiking the PCT. I was wondering, on average, how much would the total cost be? I live in L.A. Thank you, you may reply to monkeyboy_92833@hotmail.com

John, I must have looked over a dozen of your adventures. You have an awesome life that has been blessed! I recently was introduced to hiking and am proud to say I crossed my 100 mile mark in less than 60 days. I never imagined it as being so beautiful and peaceful. I heard an expression and am not quite sure of where it originated. I searched my soul and I could not see, I searched for God and he eluded me, I searched the trail and found all three. Keep the trails worn! Good Luck!

Thank you for posting your trip pictures and comments. My wife and I spent time in Enchanted Valley in 1967. Your trip comments and pictures brought back many happy memories of the seven months we spent in Washington - working, hiking and camping in the Parks. We get to re-visit the parks this August, but won't be able to hike into the Enchanted Valley. Hutch - now age 71
