Bullwinkle's |
|
With a rainy weekend in store and a lack of enthusiasm in keeping a constant cleaning vigilance on my house, I decided to take the kids to Bullwinkle's Family Fun Center. Bullwinkle's is far from being on the cheap, but since it was a rainy weekend, Kidopolis was the only thing on the menu. This was also Johnny's first trip to this adolescent daycare and would prove quite the means for tiring the little man out.
We arrived with snacks and emergency "supplies" for the trip. Johnny was a little overwhelmed as the structure, being three stories high, was the largest play area he has been in. Starting on the little kiddy tree seemed to be a good, slow beginning to what was ramping up to be quite the experience.
As the rope on the swing was too high for the little man to reach, his big sister helped him up and over. He wasn't too sure about the landing as the trust in his sister's ability to catch him was not quite there yet. Slowly though, he got deeper into the plastic cage, enjoying all the little "rooms" it had to offer.
I have not been a real fan of Bullwinkle's for quite some time as their prices are preposterous. Most of the video games take more than one token, you only get three tokens for a dollar, and whether or not the machine will acknowledge the fact that you put money into it is a gamble. Nevertheless, Johnny thought all the lights were too good to pass up. A child's Vegas indeed.
Games were played, when the machines would work, and tickets were won and spent. Amber insisted on improving her vision by trading for some glasses. She did get quite a kick out of showing all the other drivers on the road all the way home though.
