Although we have been to Great Wolf Lodge before, the kids acted like it was the first time. With school was finally out, homework finally kaput, and schedules eased, we packed made the quick jaunt in record time. As the trip was not much different from the last, and all I did (mostly) was eat and sleep, I will just narrate some of the pics I took in between naps.
Amber forgot her bathing suit, but we managed to find one on sale in the gift shop. We lucked out as the prices were absurd.
Johnny went autopilot and took a couple dozen trips down the smaller slides before we all tried the Tornado. It was a blast and they accidentally forgot to ask his height before we barreled down the massive slide on a 4-man raft.
The next day, breakfast was followed by more water park time while I read Krakauer in between naps. After that is was off to the arcade with a bucket of tokens.
They were unstoppable! Reeling them in was harder than one would think.
An awesome time! I was in the mood for a waffle cone, so we went to wait in like. During the wait, a life guard fell in before one of the rafts in the Tornado and was pretty beat up by the end. Johnny just wanted to go again, typical kid...
With ice cream in hand and Animal Planet on the tele, things could not be finer.
Johnny was a beast as he devoured his waffle cone faster than I could. We had an awesome time that I hoped the kids would have burned into their memories.
